Zip Code Append

What Zip Code Append Is

Zip Code Append fills in the zip code of each inbound call
to an offer, and of the call's lead, from the caller's
phone number. It runs before the call is filtered and
routed, and it covers 10-digit North American numbers.

Where It Is Set

Zip Code Append is set on each offer, in the Premium
Services section under Zip Code Append. Choose one Zip
Code Append Type:

• Disabled: no zip code is looked up.
• Free Zip Code: the zip code that matches the number's area code and exchange prefix. There is no charge. It may not be accurate if the caller has moved since getting the number.
• Advanced Zip Code: the zip code from a data source that aggregates consumer data. When that source has no zip code for the number, the area code and exchange prefix lookup is used instead.

Ping/Post Endpoints

Each ping/post endpoint has its own Zip Code Append
setting, in the endpoint's Zip Code Append section, with
the same three choices. It runs on each ping before
buyers are matched, so buyers that filter on zip code can
match pings that arrive without one.

Billing

Advanced Zip Code is billed at the Per Advanced Zip Code
Append rate on your billing rate sheet for each lookup
that returns a zip code; nothing is charged when no zip
code is found. Repeat lookups for the same phone number
within the dedupe window (one hour by default) are not
charged again. Free Zip Code is never charged.

What Gets Filled In

The looked-up zip code is written to the call's and the
lead's zip code and to any zip code contact fields on the
offer. A valid zip code the call or lead already has is
kept. When no zip code is found for the number, nothing
changes.
