How to Configure State Compliance

State Compliance

Navigation

At the side bar, click on Lead Automation and then Power dialer. The page has four tabs: Active Rule Groups, Call Times, Call Frequency, and Holidays.

Steps

  1. Create business hours on the Call Times tab. Define which states the hours apply to and set per-day open/close times.
  2. Create call frequency limits on the Call Frequency tab. Set the maximum contacts per phone number
    and the Time Period.
  3. Create holidays on the Holidays tab. Enter the holiday name, select which states it applies to, and add the date(s).
  4. On the Active Rule Groups tab, create a rule group. Give it a name, choose whether it applies company-wide or to specific offers, and select the business hours, call limits, and holidays to include.

Default Rules

When a company is created, a "Default Rules" group with rule_scope "company" is automatically provisioned from template-derived business hours, call limits, and holidays.

Testing

After configuration, place a test outbound call to a lead in a regulated state. If the call is blocked, the system log will show the specific rule that prevented it and the next_action_at timestamp for when the lead will be retried.
